Title: 1Password iOS 15 Update Causes Headaches for Some Users

The recent update to 1Password iOS 15 has left some users frustrated, with many reporting issues and difficulties using the app. This strongly reminds me of when Apple decided to migrate to an entirely-new code base and editing model with Final Cut Pro. The transition was not without its challenges, but ultimately led to a more robust and powerful application.

However, it seems that 1Password is still working out the kinks in their new codebase, version 8. I have not migrated to 1PW 8 yet, preferring to operate under my hard-won perpetual license while they work out the issues. Yes, for better or for worse, 1Password 7 is still active and still actively receiving updates.

Interestingly, it appears that 1Password 7 is not experiencing these same issues on iOS devices. In fact, this version of the app is still available in the App Store and seems to be functioning without any problems related to the update.

It's worth noting that Apple has also recently released new security updates for both iOS and macOS, which may have contributed to some of the issues users are experiencing with 1Password. Regardless, it's clear that 1Password is still a reliable and secure password management tool, even if version 7 is not receiving new features.

For those who are struggling with the update, I recommend sticking with version 7 until 1Password iron out the kinks in their new codebase. With any luck, future updates will bring stability and reliability back to the app.
